The body keeps honest records. Tension patterns, bracing, the small ways breath changes when a topic lands. My job is not to flatter you. It is to describe what I see accurately enough that you can recognize it too, and decide what you want to do with it.

What I notice first

Kindness, for me, is truth told cleanly. Softening is sometimes merciful. Other times it is abandonment dressed up as care. I will not confuse the two in my room.

If you are looking for a practitioner who needs you to be impressed, I am not a match. If you are looking for someone who can hold complexity without turning your life into a performance, we may be.

I respect skill when it is grounded in study and supervised practice. I do not confuse credentials with character, but I also do not pretend training does not matter. It matters because your nervous system is not a place for amateur hour.

What I actually do

I am the CCO and co-owner of Lost in the Astral. I practice as a licensed sports and structural massage therapist with 20+ years of study into everything related to massage therapy. I hold a master's in Integrative Healthcare Sciences from the American College of Healthcare Sciences and am currently pursuing my doctorate in the same field. I am a certified researcher with professional training in psychological methods including CBT related to weight management. At the 2024 Open Massage Championship Oregon I took gold in Wellness Massage, bronze in Sports, and bronze Overall.

My personal studies span 5 to 25 years in depth and cover a wide range of subjects: psychology, neurosciences, nutrition, astrology, numerology, human design, depth psychology, academic herbalism, and comparative cultural studies. I have also trained extensively in the knowledge my husband Scott carries. Sessions can stay purely structural, or move into integrative work when that is what your system is asking for.

I also hold SRP Pastoral Counseling, 9-Self platform practice, and ceremony planning and officiation on the Events Path. The common thread is accurate observation held in a steady room.
