Founder
Kacie Hinojosa.
Co-founder of Lost in the Astral. More than 20 years of bodywork, integrative health study, and careful attention to what each client actually presents.
I pay attention to how a body moves, braces, compensates, and responds. Those details help me decide what belongs in the session. The work is tailored in the room, because no useful method begins by pretending every client is the same.
What I notice first
I begin with what is observable: structure, range, tension, sensitivity, prior injury, current stress, and the way one area may be compensating for another. Experience helps me recognize a pattern. Listening keeps me from forcing that pattern onto the person in front of me.
Clients do not need to arrive knowing which technique to request. I choose from the work I have studied and practiced according to what the session calls for, then adjust as the body responds.
Directness and care belong in the same room. I will explain what I notice, stay within the scope of the service, and keep the work grounded in the client's comfort, consent, and actual goals.
What I actually do
I am the CCO and co-owner of Lost in the Astral and a licensed massage therapist with more than 20 years in massage and bodywork. I hold a master's in Integrative Healthcare Sciences from the American College of Healthcare Sciences and am pursuing my doctorate in the same field. I am also a certified researcher. At the 2026 Open Massage Championship Oregon, I earned gold in Wellness Massage, bronze in Sports Massage, and bronze overall.
My bodywork is structural and responsive rather than a menu of disconnected modalities. I draw from long practice across massage environments, continued study, research literacy, and close observation. That allows the session to change when the evidence in front of me changes.
My work at LITA also includes Tarot, Oracle, Mediumship, Channeling, SRP Pastoral Counseling, and 9-Self coaching. Those services remain distinct from massage. What carries across them is disciplined observation, clear scope, and a steady room.
