Founder

Scott Hinojosa.

Known to the work as Sage. Co-founder of Lost in the Astral. He reads patterns across people, beliefs, decisions, and the systems built around them.

I read for the pattern beneath the explanation: what repeats, what it costs, what keeps reinforcing it, and where a real choice still exists. Then I name it in language you can use after the conversation ends.

How I hold the room

I began studying religion, spirituality, philosophy, and martial arts in childhood. That study became a comparative practice: place a belief beside its history, a person's words beside their choices, and a problem beside the system that keeps reproducing it.

Moving through very different worlds taught me to read context before reaching for a conclusion. In a session, that means I pay attention to the room, the person, the structure around them, and the consequences already in motion. I will challenge a convenient explanation, but I will also explain what I see and why I think it matters.

My work fits people who want a careful read and are willing to make a decision with it. I do not claim certainty where the evidence cannot carry it. I look for repetition, contradiction, leverage, and the part of the story that disappears each time it is retold.

What I actually do

I work across SRP Pastoral Counseling, 9-Self coaching, channeling, divination, and public esoteric arts. Each has its own scope. The shared discipline is to locate the pattern, understand the conditions keeping it alive, and choose a response that can survive contact with real life.

My foundation includes decades of comparative religion, folklore, cultural study, spiritual practice, and martial arts. I also draw from sustained study of psychology, sociology, metaphysics, mythology, mysticism, influence, observation, ancient cultures, and the esoteric arts. These are lenses, not a pile of labels. I use the ones that clarify the question in front of us.

Some questions belong to a specific living tradition or licensed profession. When the boundary matters, I name it and refer accordingly.
